21.04.2021 – Ganna Garo took part in the meeting of the working group on legislation improvement regarding the safeguarding of children’s interests and rights in case of conflict between parents over child’s accommodation and participation in the upbringing, hosted by the Interdepartmental coordinative council on juvenile justice.
On the event:
*Results of researches on existing practices and problematic questions that emerge in case of parental disputes regarding child’s accommodation and participation part in upraising were presented
*Legislative approaches of some EU member states regarding parents’ legal status after divorce and reaction in case of child’s abduction by one of the parents were considered
*Recommendations based on the researches results were drafted
